Welcome to the STA Home and School Website!
The St. Thomas Aquinas Home and School Association's purpose is the enrichment of the children and the creation of a unified parish community. Home and School Board members are committed to promoting quality education and improvement programs for the children of STA School. We would like for all parents to learn more about the school and parish, along with what it has to offer, and we encourage STA parents and community members to play an active role in all school and parish functions.
We believe in positive motivation for the children, promoting spiritual activities, progress in our children's education, and a strong sense of achievement among parents, teachers, community members, school administrators, and students.
It is our sincere hope that through the strong guidance of our spiritual leaders and the combined efforts of all involved, that we can continue to build on the strong foundation of faith that has made this parish what it is today.
We greatly appreciate all that the parents, faculty, administrators and community members do to make STA great! If you would like to volunteer your time in any way, please contact a member of our Home and School Board - contact information found on the H/S Board Members tab. Volunteers are always welcome!
All parents are invited to attend monthly Home and School Board Meetings which are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 in Crehan Hall. If there are any changes to Home and School meeting days, times, or locations, they will be posted on the website.
Some of the programs and fundraising events that the 2009-2010 Home and School Association hopes to offer to the STA community are:
- Various Fundraisers (ie - Cherrydale, Oktoberfest, Olan Mills Family Portraits)
- Halloween Bingo
- Catholic School Week programs, including scavenger hunt, special person day, and teacher appreciation
- Assistance with School Assemblies
- Assistance with Spirit Day events
- And much more….
